According to Hindustan Times, St. Peter's College of Agra has decided a beneficial punishment for students, YOGA. The principal's decision is being applauded. But hold on.
When Yoga is prescribed as a punishment, yoga becomes just that - a punishment. And for the young, a punishment is always a punishment, no matter how divine it may be. A punishment is something that you are forced to do, something that you hate. And once yoga gets tagged as a punishment, it is difficult to erase that image from young minds.
Yoga is something that you should do with an open mind. To be embraced with an open heart.n So instead of giving it as a punishment, it should be considered as a reward.
So please don't let yoga be a punishment. The good intentions are sure to backfire.

Hi Mridul....I am not saying I disagree with you, no....It is YOUR point of view and as a matter of fact, it may (IS) be right.
But you say that, for the young, a punishment is always a punishment, no matter how divine it may be. When young, punishment is always something that you hate. It is something that you are forced to do.
But as I AM YOUNG and I too am going through the routine, I wanna tell you that i an my classmates never take Standing Out in history classes as a matter of punishment! LOL!
OKAY, that was some humor, now to the point, I think it will be appreciated by students after some time and even if some don't like it, a majority will be prone to inclined towards it s wonders....so what's the harm???
